For those that stayed up for the Elimination Chamber, most would agree that the PLE was a success. Even though practically every match was predictable in some way, there was not a single stinker on that card. Between all twelve of the performers across both Chamber matches, there were a lot of implications on the future of their careers in WWE. Some with potential Wrestlemania feuds. So with all that out of the way let’s get started.
Becky Lynch:
The objective is clear for The Man. After winning the Women’s Elimination Chamber she has punched her ticket to Wrestlemania to take on Rhea Ripley. The question is, though, should Becky beat Rhea to win her 6th World Title? Personally, I think having Rhea win at Mania could set up a more lengthy feud between the two that could conclude at Summerslam. These two women are both way too good to have a one-off championship, and having Rhea win can help prolong this into one of the better women’s feuds in the past few years.
Liv Morgan:
Morgan’s future is a bit more in the air. She has been runner-up in both the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber, and there is not a lot of clear direction for her since she does not have many recent TV appearances. A Liv Morgan feud against Jade Cargill could be interesting since Liv was able to eliminate Jade in the Rumble. Liv is already a favorite to win the Women’s Money in the Bank in a few months, though. So we might just see Liv in filler matches until then.
Bianca Belair:
The EST has once again come up short as of late. Bianca will always be in the world title picture because she is one of the wrestlers in the world. Bianca’s next major feud is very dependent on what happens at Wrestlemania. Bayley and Iyo Sky could potentially be a feud that spans multiple PLEs, but Bianca has a lot of stake in that feud as she has not forgotten about what Damage CTRL has done to her in the past. For now, I could see Bianca in a TV feud with Tiffany Stratton with the ultimate goal being to put Tiffy over. Bianca has a high probability of being Bayley’s first non-Damage CTRL title defense if she takes out Iyo.
Raquel Rodriguez:
Raquel is one of the most underrated women on the WWE roster. Her loss in the Chamber was not in vain, though. The booking of the match made Raquel look very strong, and could lead to a reignited feud with Nia Jax that was cut short. Booking Raquel is incredibly difficult because due to her being diagnosed with mast cell activation syndrome, she could be out of action again at any time and for an indefinite amount of time. Maybe Triple H could create a feud between Raquel and Liv, who were at one point tag team partners. They never technically split up as a tag-team so it could be interesting.
Tiffany Stratton:
Tiffy is riding high after being in the Chamber in her first month on the main roster, and it would be best to keep riding the wave of Tiffy Time. Tiffany is my pick to win the Women’s Money in the Bank. Ultimately using it to win her first title on the main roster. Seeing that Bayley and Iyo Sky is likely a long-term feud, it is likely that Tiffy would cash in on the winner of the Rhea vs. Becky match at Wrestlemania. Tiffany was incredibly over with the Aussie crowd, and she arguably already amongst the best in-ring performers in the company. Pair that with her great mic skills and you have a future world champion in Tiffany Stratton.
Naomi:
The former TNA Knockouts World Champion has had a lackluster return to the WWE thus far. Naomi is a total package and it would be a waste of time for her to be a mid-carder in the women’s division. Big things will come for Naomi in time. If Tiffany Stratton does not win the briefcase, Naomi should be right up next to her on that list. She is a two-time world champ for a reason, and while her booking looks unclear for now it should not be a long time before we see Naomi back with a title around her waist.
Bobby Lashley:
Lashley felt like filler in this match. He is currently in a well-documented TV feud with the Final Testament and it does not look like it will end any time soon. It would be great to see Lashley get another world title push, but for now it does not look like it's in the cards. Bobby has already taken a mentorship role for the Street Profits, and if the tag titles are split the Street Profits should be towards the top of the list for a tag title reign. That leaves Bobby on the outs of a three man faction. Something that could lead to an eventual heel turn, or the Almighty One being unfortunately relegated to a managerial role.
LA Knight:
Knight has been the most over man in the company for nearly a year now. After losing to Roman Reigns at both Crown Jewel and at the Royal Rumble it looks like Knight is going to continue coming up short for some time. A feud between AJ Styles and LA Knight is set. AJ cost Knight the match by attacking him with a chair and hitting him with a Styles Clash causing him to be pinned by Drew McIntyre. This seems like a filler feud for Knight with AJ being an opponent designed to put Knight over. It would not be a surprise to see LA Knight as a favorite to win the Men’s Money in the Bank after he came up short last year. Knight has the talent to be a world champ and the WWE cannot keep burying him any longer.
Kevin Owens, Logan Paul, and Randy Orton:
Packaging these three together makes a lot of sense. The three superstars will likely have a Triple Threat bout at Wrestlemania for the United States Championship. Kevin Owens has been in a rivalry with Logan Paul over the past two months culminating in a match at the Royal Rumble. KO would come up short in that match losing via disqualification. Both Kevin Owens and Logan Paul would be RKO’d and pinned by Randy Orton. Logan would end up costing Randy the match by punching him with brass knuckles leading to Drew McIntyre pinning Orton for the win. Both Orton and Owens will have their sights set on Logan Paul going into Wrestlemania and a triple threat match would be the best way to go about it. Having Kevin Owens win the match would be great to put the US title back in the spotlight. Logan Paul can have a one-off match for a World Championship down the line. Randy Orton can continue to chase Ric Flair and John Cena’s sixteen championship record.
Drew McIntyre:
Like Becky Lynch, the vision is clear for Drew. Because Drew McIntyre won the Men’s Elimination Chamber match, he will be set to battle Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania. A match that will be an absolute classic. Drew feels like he should be the champion after pinning Seth Rollins for a three-count, only for Rollins to break the pin with his foot on the ropes at Day One. A desperate Drew McIntyre should win his third World Championship at Wrestlemania prompting CM Punk to return from injury, and challenge Drew for the championship at Backlash in what should be a feud that spans multiple PLEs. At the end, Punk would take the title off of Drew, setting up a Wrestlemania feud of CM Punk and Seth Rollins next year.
